Jute string in a tin can makes it easier to keep the string organized and on top of it. The classic can and label have looked the same for many years.

The spools are well known to gardeners. The twine is pulled from the centre of the spool. The jute twine is still manufactured in their factory in Angus, Scotland, Nutscene has been producing jute twine, using the same machines since 1922. The jute twine is biodegradable.
